Wellbeing…
- Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of older people living in Doncaster?
- Are you interested in supporting people to maintain independence, stay living at home and enjoy life?
- Do you want to have more control over they way you work, and feel part of a team?
- Do you want to grow, learn and develop your skills?
If so, you could be a great fit for our Wellbeing Worker role, in which you will work as part of a Wellbeing Team to deliver a new approach to home care.
You will support people in ways that reflect what matters to them. This could include anything from personal care, cooking or cleaning right through to helping people to stay active and connected to their community.
What makes us different?
People’s care and support reflects what really matters to them. We take the time to learn about their priorities, and the change that they would like to see in their life.
A person’s disease, diagnosis, age or infirmity is secondary to our approach to ensuring independence.
We realise that the support we provide older people is an opportunity and a challenge.
We are bringing together social care, the voluntary sector, primary and secondary care; because these areas all need to work together to support people effectively.
People thrive in communities, and we actively support community connections.
Our staff work in self-managed teams. You will be your own boss and you will do your best to be your best.
Working with us
You will work as a team to create your schedule for the hours that you need.
We ask for a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
We have weekly team meetings.
You will be supported by a personal coach.
Your wellbeing matters to us, and we get to know what matters to everyone who works with us.
Pay is £8 per hour plus travel expenses around Doncaster.
Own transport is essential.
