Pareidolia

If you stare

At clouds

For long enough,

After a while, you start

to see all sorts of shapes;

& Images

Drifting across.

Spend

a few hours

gazing

At the sand,

Anything can appear.

Perhaps it is the sun

And the heat

Or dehydration;

Nature’s pixels

Talking to you;

Dancing

Pixies

Past the solstice,

Making way for the

Winter.

  1. Thanks for the new word Rod. I sometimes see faces similar to Da Vinci skeches in cloud type images when I go to sleep. I thought this might be the same thing but Google tells me these are phosphenes. Who knew? You I bet.
