I can remember

His name.

 

Colin lived down the road from me in Glasgow.

 

I think he was adopted,

or, perhaps,

Some other mystique.

 

He always reminded me of the actor from the Man from Uncle – Ilya Kuryakin*

Something

About his eyes

And hair.

 

Anyway.

 

I don’t know why,

I ended-up kicking him one day.

 

I had dog shit on my shoe.

 

Again, I don’t know why.

 

I can remember his green Parka

Smeared with poop.

 

Then, a short-time later,

His mum very pissed talking to my mum at our front door.

 

I don’t know what they said.
