I am trying to remember

Trigonometry

to give my son

support

in his forthcoming exams.

It is far away;

So remote

& out of reach

That I can’t do it.

It feels like grasping

dust

or

noise.

It is

as if

the

youth

in Langside College

was a different

person.

Indeed – he was;

If we take 7 years

as the timespan for renewal;

I am almost

seven

different people from who I was

Then.

Who am I now?
