At Newgrange I felt
drawn
back to the scene
at the end of Stig of the Dump.
The one
on mid-summers’ eve
with the
ancients dancing.
It was hypnotic
to gaze
at the zig-zags
and spirals
in the stone.
Etched
some
five-thousand years ago
by an early
Irish
artist.
Potentially
off their head on mushrooms.
The further we are
from our past;
to who we were
the more disconnected we are
from who we are.
Think I must seè that scene, of ancients dancing.
Did they have to be on mushrooms to carve those patterns – seem very symmetrical for someone under the influence?
Profoundly true philosophical conclusion.
Strangely feel place less than impressive to you?

I’ll write about the vision theory tomorrow! It was the most amazing place.
